After taking the course, students should be able to:

Define and explain key principles of basic AI research.
Analyze the capabilities and limitations of various AI technologies.
Grasp the relation and difference between basic AI research and the application of AI technologies.
Explore and evaluate known ethical frameworks relevant to AI and technology.
Apply ethical theories to real-world AI scenarios.
Analyze and discuss real-world case studies illustrating ethical challenges in AI development and use. Analyze how AI intersects with issues such as inequality and accessibility.
Assess the social, economic, and cultural impact of AI on individuals and communities.
Examine existing and emerging laws and regulations related to AI.
