Pick a topic you think has been neglected in AI research in the past 20 years. Find 5-7 references relevant to the topic that can help make the argument that the topic has been neglected, and/or provide important context for the topic. Final paper should be PDF between 4 and 6 pages long (12 point font). Included in the paper should be the outline of a proposal for how a research program addressing the neglected topic could be structured and initiated. Make sure you explain the topic well and provide good arguments for why you consider it neglected.
