In a group of 11 individuals, the variable x gives the following readings: 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111. Take a sample of 5 (without replacement) repeatedly (include all 11 again in the repetition) and find the mean and the median for each sample. Study how these sample statistics vary, using both graphical, quantitative and verbal descriptions. Do a similar study for the variable y measured on another group of 11, giving the readings 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 1000, 10000, 100000. The number of repetitions should be at least 1000 for each variable.
